It was my brother-in-laws 40th birthday and he wanted to have it somewhere memorable, and the Ploughman Bar was perfect. Not overly huge, but had a real boutique feel about it. They also had a big selection of board and card games available, which was pretty cool after a few drinks. Food...the platters served got devoured. They also closed off the whole bar to the public for the afternoon, which was great. Four reall... View all feedback.
The toasties, cheese platters, and craft beers at this restaurant are top-notch. The ambiance is cool and dog-friendly, tucked away in the back of an industrial warehouse block. Lee's passion for crafting beers is evident and definitely worth checking out. This hidden gem is a must-visit spot.
The restaurant offers a fantastic variety of beer and the staff are very knowledgeable. The prices for food are fair and I would definitely eat here again. The atmosphere is great and I enjoy the game options available. It would be nice to have more substantial food choices and the ability to take beer to go, but I understand why this may not be feasible.
Great local bar. Delicious beers and great gin and wine selection. The bar has a really relaxed and warm atmosphere.
Another great example of the cool hole-in-the-wall venues point up asserting Brisbane. Extremely friendly staff with a really good good selection of craft beer in the fridge and on tap. Small beer garden out the side is a great addition to the venue. The menu is a fantastic complement to the beer and the atmosphere.
Wonderful local bar with great atmosphere. Craft beers and unusual wines are often showcased, but it’s never been pompous or snobby here, with well known drops also available. Great snack platters. Staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable, and happy to offer recommendations. We go as often as we can.
