What User likes about Transcontinental Hotel:
3 1/2 stars for the food. First time visit. I didn't know it existed. I had steak sandwich which was fresh and very tender. My friend had the beef burger which she said was fresh. Both meals were of ample serving. Chips were a little tasteless and dry (maybe I'm just used to Grill'd chips and some flavour added). 2 1/2 stars for the register person who appeared annoyed when my friend asked for specific items to be left off her burger. She would do well to show some patience for customers otherwise they will tire of this attitude. Maybe I'm wrong and she could have been just concentrating....

Ive been to this hotel many times but have never eaten here. So we had dinner with interstate friends recently & we all enjoyed it. It was a weeknight there were a few drinkers in the bar areas, we did book a table but really should`nt have bothered.
