We booked through OpenTable but unfortunately our booking was not there. Luckily they had tables as we were taking our parents out for a treat as they were down staying with us from Scotland for Easter. Booked via IHG site so that may be where the problem is, not sure. We made a reservation through OpenTable, but unfortunately our booking was not found. Luckily, they had tables available when we brought our parents for a special meal while they were visiting from Scotland for Easter. We booked through the IHG website so there may have been a glitch in the system. It was not ideal to arrive at the restaurant and not have a reservation. The food was tasty and the staff was friendly. The portions were generous and the dishes were delicious. The atmosphere felt more like a shopping mall than a traditional restaurant, which was fine but not ideal for special occasions.
My family and I have been dining at Café Rouge for a week now and we are extremely pleased with our experience. The service is excellent and with the use of vouchers, we are able to enjoy a delicious and affordable dinner.
I made a reservation online through OpenTable, but when I arrived at the restaurant and showed an employee the confirmation, there seemed to be some confusion. We were eventually seated, but another employee questioned our reservation and said they were unaware they used OpenTable for bookings. Despite the mix-up, they assured us they would investigate. There were several items unavailable on the menu, indicating a problem in the kitchen. This is the second time we have experienced issues with the menu availability, suggesting a need for better planning and management.
I booked a table on Open Table that they didn't know. We were told that there was a 30-minute delay in serving food. Steak ordered rarely was medium. After 2 hours we decided to ask for the bill, I got only one starter and we were all waiting for the desserts we ordered. Bill needed 20 minutes to get there. Seriously, why would we really recommend it to our friends, why should we ever go there again?
