Great dining experience with authentic Indian cuisine. We often visit late at night, and the staff is always welcoming. Be sure to try the Morgi Masala; it’s one of the best curries on the menu!

We ordered takeaway from here tonight since our usual spot was unexpectedly closed, but we were craving curry! After doing some research, we chose The Raj because its reviews were better than many other local options. The online ordering process was very straightforward. For starters, we had poppadoms, chutneys, chicken chat, sheesh kebab, and chicken tikka, followed by chicken tikka masala, mixed biryani, and aloo for our main dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed everything. The quality was excellent, and the portions were generous. The restaurant is located next to a pub, so you enter through the door on the right, which leads to the back. There's plenty of parking available in the pub's lot. Our food stayed nice and hot, even though we live 20 minutes away.

I've had two meals here so far, and both were excellent. I visited early, so there were no crowds, which allowed for great service and delicious food. The chicken jalfrezi was particularly delightful.
