we are the other night to dinner here. the kitchen is open at 18:00 clock and we asked the vegan menu. it has a good choice to choose dressed, we chose an salat and cramped as an appetizer, then burger and risotto for the net. the staff was very helpful and the place has a beautiful land pub feel about it. What Michael W doesn't like about Ring O' Bells:
Probably my fault, I tried to make polite conversation with the landlord; and got back lots of snide comments, even taking my voice off at one point. Not the first time he's been like this with me (and others have told me of similar experiences they've had) but it is the last. Its a pity as his young staff are very good and the foods ok and the location superb. Don't know if he has problems but he shouldn't really be... View all feedback.
It didn't eat here as the local hunt was there. it seems to have a good relationship with landlord/Lady, so really not the pub for me!

Great pub particularly on a sunny day as can sit outside and take in the view
If you 're looking for accommodation quite literally 'away from it all ' then this would definitely be the place for you. Located within driving distance of Wells, Bristol Bath, but a million miles away from their hustle and bustle. There is the pub, a village church, small village green, post box, telephone box and that 's about it. We stayed on Saturday night of this May Bank Holiday weekend, and really enjoyed our stay. Having checked their dinner menu out online before visiting, was gutted to discover they were only doing a five course taster meal that evening. However, it means we have a great reason to revisit and stay on another occasion. Breakfast the following morning was perfect. Our room was located on the pathway leading to the pub 's entrance, with our own seat and chairs provided outside. Drinks and bar snacks were sensibly priced. The room itself was more than sufficient, but not particularly large, and due to its location you will hear noise from the pub and the sounds of people leaving at the end of the evening. Wonderful value for money, especially as breakfast was included in the price. Dog friendly too for those interested.
This is a great place to go. Great atmosphere, great food. I highly recommend
