I was totally disappointed by my order. ordered a turkey dinner, no kies and the truthahn slices were very minimal. both suppen were cold. super grilled cheese was cold, not crispy at all. It was nice and quiet. My husband and I were early for lunch. The waitress was really good very friendly. I would definitely eat there again

"What a devoted local following! We visited while passing through town and the line was out the door. Their bacon egg and cheese sandwich is pillowy soft steamy, and their donuts are similarly tender. Boston cream filling was silky and tasted homemade. They have shelves neatly stocked with floury blond sliced loaves and rolls, and their pastry case is full of beautiful cupcakes and a handful of other pastry that I imagine are also good quality. While the line moved a bit slowly, coffee was just okay, and the donut selection was small, they are clearly well-established and serving patrons what they want. Cute place too- a giant dough trough table, huge classic sign and original photos give it a nostalgic touch. The biblical phrases on signs and walls aren’t my cup of tea but it didn’t make my sandwich any less enjoyable! Parking: Tons of parking, especially early morning."
