This place is beautiful inside. Really pleasantly surprised given its location by a budget hotel! The food was also very good, and fairly priced. Comfortable environment, friendly staff who seem to actually care about the place they work in and good food very happy customer. View all feedback.

The Shakespeare is quite a nice pub. It has an old-fashioned decor, with some minor updating. There's plenty of seating, and an ItBox. The drinks prices are very reasonable, with, for example, double-up offers on selected beers etc, making a round significantly cheaper! 3 beers was £6.40.. We didn't try the food, but will probably go back. They also had some kind of meat raffle advertised, which suggests they do some... View all feedback.
