"Absolutely amazing eating and making a reasonable journey. had the screw starter in creamy garlic sauce, oh my word, it's really difficult to find a place that can make snails right. also tested the rump steak and it was very delicate and succulent. they were there for the chicken prego and chips, also amazing. eating is fresh and tasty."

"Truly great location with views into the gardens. Book a terrace table. Roast lamb (family sharing) was superb. Would be an ultimate dish if they served with roast potatoes rather than a green salad (which was delicious regardless). Chicken curry also great. Apple crumble amazing but very rich and can be shared. Only negative is that they are always short staffed so service suffers each time. Need more staff. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5"
