What User likes about Awash:
Excellent Injera-Wat; two subtle renditions of Tej; the owners and operators were wonderful to speak with in Amharic and shared memories of the days of Haile Selassie. I lived in Addis Ababa from 1972—1977 — before, during, after the overthrow of The Emperor by the Derg. The same regime is sadly repeating its failures-of-the-past…now in Ukraine. What User doesn't like about Awash:
Quiet until 830 pm when it picks up on the weekends. Could be more traditional in atmosphere and music. The food was not as spicy or flavorful as other Ethiopian restaurants I've been to in the country. The prices were relatively high for the family platter. View all feedback.

In addition to a variety of dishes, the menu also offers a diversity of beverages and typical house dishes.
