Super friendly staff. We enjoyed sitting outside but the inside looked nice as well. We shared the Doro Wett with lentils and greens. The chicken was tender and the sauce was delicious. Wish there had been more. A lot of it was soaked up by the injera it was served on. I would ask for it to be served separately next time. Overall I would definitely go back and try other dishes. What nouri n doesn't like about Bati Ethiopian Kitchen:
If I can describe this place and the quality of food…HORRENDOUS and a NIGHTMARE. When it comes to Ethiopian cuisine I know the authenticity of it. Due to trying many different restaurants. Firstly, the injera bread was cold, very thin and stale resembling like crepes. Yikes! The meat dishes was mainly dried up stew- barley no meat. Upon receiving my order I asked politely our server/manger “HIBIST LEGESSE” about my c... View all feedback.
I'd love to know where the positive reviews come from because the bread was as thin as a crepe not filling at all, we were served completely cold food as if it was taken out of fridge put it in the microwave for 30 seconds, and when I requested to have the food warmed up I was told the food is supposed to be cold which I know for a fact it's not. unhelpful service. bread was cold and curry/vegetables were lukewarm. the tables were also not cleaned properly they were all sticky and lots of crum … – show
We had a great time at the place. As a professional in food industry I’m amazed with waitresses work skills. Thank you <3
The kitfo was delicious, the Tej honey wine was delicious and the gomen and buticha paired perfectly.

We had an enjoyable meal at bati Ethiopian kitchen. We really loved the spicy crispy injera bread, the stewed chicken, the beef stew, the lamb stew and all of the vegan dishes. I love how dramatic the combination platter looks! I enjoyed the Ethiopian beer I had, It was very light and refreshing. I'm not sure I consider getting one chicken drumstick in a chicken dish a good value. Seemed a bit short. Also the sauteed beef dish was tough. We left fat and happy.
