Betty Bakery - Broad Channel

I recently requested a quote for a custom cake and they responded quickly and the price was very reasonable. Unfortunately the party planners decided to use a bakery closer to venue. That said I’ve been to this neighborhood staple several times and the cake is delicious and the service is friendly. Definitely recommend this place for cakes and other baked goods. What Illy E doesn't like about Betty Bakery:
4 stars but reduced overall rating to 3 stars because of the cost. I was shocked to find I spent $19 for a slice of cake, cupcake, and small iced chai. The cake was $10, cupcake was $5, small iced chai latte was $5. The chocolate cake was a little hard but once it softened up it was tasty, but nothing special or unique about it. The red velvet cupcake was just like any other red velvet cupcake. Tasty but nothing special or unique. I was disappointed and felt like the cost didn't match up with my expectations, but it satisfied a craving I had. The outer entrance and facade of the building is pretty though.
