I visited Sansimian on the weekend. Staff were pleasant and there were a lot of food options. This meal tasted like real Caribbean food and I was full for a long time. This is a medium. It was well worth the 16 dollars. View all feedback.

Just bought rice and peas with oxtail and omg the rice and peas was horrible..rice extremely overcooked and tasteless..I just tossed the food out. Very disappointed in wasting my money. I called the restaurant and the response was “really, the rice overcooked” the person who cooked and those that served knew very well the food was not up to satisfactory but they didn’t care.I guess it’s money to be made no matter how... The food is okay some menu items I would say are even good but the Mac and cheese is like Kraft Mac and cheese not made with real cheese unfortunately.
It’s my second time going there in the morning for some porridge. A tad bit pricey, but what can you expect from a NYC restaurant.
