Wonderful hotel, but I had an afternoon tea experience that was a bit of a let down. In short, if you have a food allergy, beware! My wife and I were visiting NYC over Thanksgiving to see the parade. I came here for my sister’s 30th Birthday. I booked in advance and found a groupon (through other recommended reviews). I called in advance to confirm two vegetarian afternoon tea sets. They request at least 24 hours in advance for dietary requirements. One star down for poor low average sandwiches. The bread was not good and the cream cheese cucumber sandwiches were skimp.
