"The toast here is less sour (I don't know what this means technically, but I don't like a bitter coffee, so that's probably easier to drink than black coffee,) the owner/barista clayton is friendly and sport a sweet hipster bart. if you're in the opposite, fall in."

"Don't go here if you have kids.. no kids menu! You have to buy a set menu cheapest $26. We tried to take our 3 granddaughters there last night for a treat to watch the chefs cook at the teppanyaki tables it would have cost $76 just for their meals which they would not have eaten. They were not busy also but were adamant that we had to purchase an adult meal. SO WE WENT ELSEWHERE!! We used to go here regularly but will not go back!!"

"I am here for a few days break and discovered The Cuban for dinner. OMG it was awesome! I will be here from Melbourne next April working at the Comm games, I will definately become a regular diner during this stay. I would highly recommend The Cuban to anyone. The food and service was excellent"

"Dined here for the omakase which is only available on Tue-Thur for a maximum of six guests per night which requires a full payment in advance upon making the booking. The omakase had around 20 courses with three sake flight to par with the sushi and hot dishes.Every dish was tasty and the seafood was fresh. Each nigiri sushi was paired with a different sauce/ topping. Some dishes have a modern twist, for example the chawanmushi and the miso soup had butter which added a richness to the dish which was different but very flavourful. Grilled fish was delicate with a very crispy skin. Dessert tasting platter was also very good.Overall the food was great but a little too expensive for what you get; expected some sort of seafood for the tempura rather than just pumpkin and the hot mains was just a duck tsukune skewer which was not substantial as a main and it didn't have any distinct duck flavour. Atmosphere was alright with the dining experience on the bar counter, service from staffs were good, not much interaction and explanation of each sushi being served by the chef."
