"I like the wood decor, open fire and atmosphere. Tried the guest ciders as tasters on tap, had a rather sweet honeyed version in the end, prefer something dryer but wanted a change from Aspalls. Staff are friendly."

"We were staying at the local Sprowston Manor Hotel and the menu didn’t offer great choice so we headed to the Blue Boar and we thought the food was great, I had the chicken curry which tasted fantastic and looked as good as it tasted, my parter only had good comments about the hunters chicken, we were also tempted by the desserts which at £4.95 were amazing value, the only disappointment was that we weren’t staying longer as we would have been back, friendly staff very attentive, and great value for money"

"From the minute we arrived we had friendly excellent service. The menu was very good and we couldn’t decide what to have, the lovely staff helped us and we opted for the crab Salad with new potatoes and the prawn platter with fries, we was not disappointed. The crab tested fresh, the prawns were so juicy and the scampi was the best I have had. The staff were really attentive and made us feel special"

"We had dinner here on holiday in wroxham. a really nice experience that was eating was delicious especially the sea bass for the main course, but the highlight were the deserts that dad won this with the cheesecake, one of the best we tried!"

"Great dog friendly pub. today on the way to home with both dogs and had a warm reception and a table in bar area. dogs had brought a large bowl of water for them. we had the rib-eye steak, the cromer cage and the pineapple parafait desert. all were boiled to perfection and really delicious. beautiful time had come from all of them back if not soon home."
