"So pleased I went to this lovely cafe in Salhouse with my sister today, I never knew it existed. Had a lovely egg sandwich with fresh salad and crisps, also had a piece of lovely ginger cake, which was so fresh, and a great tasting latte. This is such an unusual cafe as there are so many lovely little items, new and vintage scattered around that you can purchase if desired, all sensibly priced. The owner is such a lovely lady and made me feel so welcome. I can’t wait to return again very soon and recommend this lovely little find to my friends."

"I'm so sorry to write this but the food was utterly shocking! The three of us went out for a birthday meal. One of the starters was cold in the middle and sent back, followed by my main meal which the chicken tasted off and was so hard, as were the potatoes in the sag aloo, and as for the tarka dahl, it was tasteless and powdery in texture. When I tasted my partners food, it tasted like a curried lime pickle!!! The chapati was rock solid...I mean come on guys, the night was utterly ruined, and by this stage we didn't want replacement dishes, just wanted to go home!! Service was great but there should have been more knocked off the bill. Utterly ruined our special evening that we were highly looking forward too, especially after these raving reviews.... The service is great, great atmosphere, but the food was absolutely not fit for consumption!!"
