this place is beautiful for a quick stop, personal are friendly and eating is great. the best coffee coming from a barista! but I say I think the service is not so good if the blonde lady doesn't work. not sure of her name, but she is so friendly, so good at her job and I would recommend it to everyone. "Excellent afternoon tea, lovely selection of freshly made sandwiches and cakes, and warm scones, ladies very attentive offering more tea, atmosphere was lovely reminded me of grandma's parlour of the 40’s , ration books and memorabilia all around the room and soothing music playing in the background, accommodated my dairy free diet, talked me through my options. Will hopefully return before Christmas to sample the new menu."

"Not bad but not amazing food, nothing particularly outstanding. 'Dangerous ' curry was just heat without much flavour, Vindaloo was quite bland and couldn 't taste any vinegar, which should be predominant in a proper one, Ambiance lacking, lights too bright, and service a little rushed , having wanted to visit here for a while due to the positive reviews, personally I wouldn 't rush back.
