We tried the Dunes on our first night at Broken Hill. It is next door to a motel and so sometimes is very full. In fact, there was a tour bus outside the motel...

Don't bother with Dunes Restaurant in the Southern Cross Hotel in Broken Hill. It is closed as all furniture has gone.

Never know with pubs, but this one has the right people in the kitchen! Quality ingredients and cooking. Excellent (also huge!) meals

"Great food , had meals from the specials list, had better wines about town. It is hard to find as it is in the Ibis Motel and not signposted on the street. It is very modern decor with no soft surfaces to soften the sound."
