Lovely pub in Downe Village. We ate here with the kids after Darwin House mid week before Easter. Kids loved their meals and we had pie which was lovely! Would of been 5 stars however the bar girl was rude to my husband and was more interested in keeping the locals happy than serving us. Language was not very lady like either especially with children around! View all feedback.

I was very disappointed. It could be a lovely pub, but there was only one person inside and 2 outside. We had been to the Christmas tree farm with the baby. The bar person's were very welcoming and friendly, but unfortunately the food was a letdown. I had sausage mash and garden peas. I didn't like the sausage they were hard and gritty texture.
