Walnuts Cafe Bistro - BROMLEY

This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. The meat was overcooked, the dessert never arrived, and the chef was sarcastic. This has happened before. Overall, very disappointing.

I thought the food was fantastic and the service was also excellent. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. It was a great value for the price and I would happily recommend it.

I recently went to Walnuts Petts Wood for Saturday brunch and unfortunately, I had the worst service ever. Despite being busy, we were quickly seated in the 'garden' area but then forgotten about. It took 20 minutes for us to even place our order after my husband had to find a server. Another couple who arrived after us were served before us, and their drinks came before ours. When our drinks did finally arrive, mine was not very hot. Our food arrived an hour after we arrived and was delicious, but the overall experience was ruined. After complaining, the waitress said the manager refused to give us a discount, citing long wait times for all customers. I find this to be poor customer service, especially when others who arrived after us were served promptly. I will not be returning to Walnuts Petts Wood and will be warning friends and family about our experience. The manager should consider improving their customer service skills.

We have being going here for a while, but dissatisfied by our last visit , people sitting with dogs on laps, and snappy dogs ,service was slow, by husband ordered eggs Benedict on my recommendation, I had had this the week before with toast and it was served up with eggs on a large piece of toast and another slice. Husband ordered his with muffin, we were al shocked when it arrived as it was on the smallest muffin we’ve ever seen and that was it, my husband doesn’t like making a scene so we just ordered chips to go with it. Very disappointed as I have never had issues before with this cafe . We will go back, although they do seem to be concentrating on the home delivery side of the business, we should have said something, but surely the food should all come out as it has been served before.

The only reason I am giving it a 3 is the dogs are inside the premises … people must be in denial it’s not hygienic at all where they food is prepared and served you have animals inside this is getting out of hand as now they are everywhere nothing against dogs they are amazing but there is a place and time they shoujd be outside or leave them home if you can’t look after them ! Can’t bring dogs to work or any public places why where people eat ?? It’s not ok
