What Andrés Felipe Sierra likes about Tony's Pier:
A staple of City Island, this eatery is located at the shore with a view of the water and nearby bridge (maybe the Whitestone but I'm not sure) Don't expect anything fancy, think of it as the McDonald's of seafood View all feedback. What Priestly Canty doesn't like about Tony's Pier:
Quiet on a Tuesday afternoon. They have very affordable prices on the menu. The customer service behind the counter could be better. One of staff was kind of rude. read moreOverall, Tony's Pier Restaurant in City Island offers a nostalgic experience for many visitors. With a no-frills setup, it provides a quick and reliable option for fried seafood at reasonable prices. The food is generally fresh and well-portioned, though some dishes might lack a bit of seasoning. The wait time to order can be lengthy during peak hours, but once you receive your meal, it arrives promptly. The atmosphere is casual, with outdoor seating that offers scenic views of the water. While some may find the lines and surroundings off-putting, loyal customers appreciate the consistent quality and efficiency of the staff over the years. Cash is preferred, but there is an ATM available. If you're looking for a laid-back seafood spot without the fuss, Tony's Pier Restaurant is a solid choice on City Island.
