Cafe fixe has some of the best espresso drinks I have ever had. Their cappuccino has the perfect amount of milk and has a beautiful complex and smooth coffee flavor. I appreciate their dislike of people setting up their laptops and occupying tables for a long time, as this is a coffee shop and not your personal office. Great coffee and pastries. It got crowded when we were leaving, but we got a nice seat seat at the window before 8 am. The barista was not friendly at all...
The owner kept looking at me. I know I was upsetting him somehow but I couldn't stop laughing. That seemed to irk him even more.
