Barbes - Brooklyn

This restaurant is known for its hipster ambiance and jazz music, but to some, it may appear as a cramped and unappealing hole in the wall. The space is so small and cozy that the windows often fog up during the winter months.

If I could give 6 stars, I would! We entered the beautiful marine-themed restaurant and were warmly greeted by the staff who seated us right away. We ordered this.

I visited this restaurant for a friend's intimate concert, whom I had never met or heard before. The back room can accommodate about 10 people and a musician, and the acoustics were excellent.
