first I was skeptical about the price, felt too expensive for me. $25 for a big order of Ox tails seemed to be exaggerated in brooklyn (for me,) but I can say it was worth it and it was a lot. 3 men could eat of this order, and they were not beaten with the sose. ? it's worth it and it's really good? What User doesn't like about De Islands:
25 dollar for ochs tail, which does not even taste that good. the carry is very small and does not include plantain. if plantain is included, the 3 dollar is extra. I'm not going back there. these people are hungry for money and they are rude. I asked the lady to put hot sauce in my food and she ignored me and turned her face and put none. the first and last time to buy food there. Now I can see why the restaurant was so empty. I don't care if I'm hungry. I don't write reviews, but just try to help someone out there. they don't wash. money! rotis r us, blue mountain and peppa makes big ochs tail only incase someone needed a suggestion.
