I'm so glad i found this spot, having lived in Puerto Rico for 3 years the place hits the spot anytime I'm craving Latin food. Food is fresh, tasty and good quality. The prices are super reasonable for the area especially the $10 lunch special and the portions are definitely on the larger side. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. What User doesn't like about El Cofre:
If your Dominican spend your money somewhere else. I got White rice, Black beans, and baked chicken. The chicken was so underseasoned it makes supermarket chicken seem like a bargain. The black beans tasted horrible wrongly seasoned full of black specks. A ready seasoned can from Goya microwaved would of been miles better. Food wasn't bad, but the lunch special is a rip off!! .... They will give you a lot of rice and beans and VERY VERY little meat!!! Definitely not worth it
