Consider this a combined review for Wanpaku and Hidden Pearl, the speakeasy that is this otherwise unassuming Japanese restaurant on the Williamsburg-Greenpoint border's claim to fame.The wait was not bad on a Friday night. The ramen, karage, and takoyaki are amazing. Skip the sandos as those are basic along with the unseasoned fries with no sauce.
Broth was delicious. Thick and rich. Nice bit of spice with the pulled pork.
