China Delight Family Restaurant

We were completely disappointed. Our food was under cooked and overly salty. I wonder about the background of the cook. For me personally, it was a complete dining disaster.When we walked in, the hostess tried to persuade us to take buffet. After looking at the buffet, we decided to order three dishes. Only one was barely edible. Vegetables in a second dish (chicken with mushroom) was under cooked. Taste was off. Vegetable in a third dish (beef with vegetable) again was under cooked. It was so salty that we sent it back to kitchen.This has to be the worst chinese food we have every eaten in our life.Hostess said that they have been in business for three years. I wonder how do they stay in business with such poor food.

Or we can not order what we would like to, Or we get something else than we orderd. Last time didn't get at all what we orderd. Keep saying sorry and next time better does not always help. Some times customers just have enough of that! And don't return.

Excellent family owned business with prompt service and friendly inviting atmosphere. Buffet or a la carte you will not be disappointed if you dine in the restaurant or get take out equally yumm!

Worst Chinese food ever. I love Chinese food and never been to one that I don't like. I had wonderful Chinese dishes in Calgary and on all my other travels. Unfortunately, this one is the first one I have to give a double thumbs down. The buffet looked all dried up, so we decided to order dishes made to order. The owner kept trying to persuade us to go with the buffet. The first few items we picked off the menu, she would say that is not good, no one liked it the last time someone ordered or item is not available any more. It is comical that why would she have it on the menu. The food is salty, and flavorless, but large portion drenched in soy sauce. It is your basic white sauce, brown sauce, black sauce and red sauce restaurant. The meats are over cooked and hard to chew. The vegetables are not fresh and under cooked. We had to ask for clean plates. The plate had dry up food still stuck on it. It is a disgrace to call this place a Chinese restaurant.The owner/server kept giving excuses that the food is catered for non-Chinese taste. Wow! What she meant by that. Lower standards for non-Chinese bc assuming non-Chinese don't know what Chinese food should taste like. They desperately needing to fire the chief and hire a new one. Don't eat here. We found out there is another Chinese restaurant down the road listed in Trip Adviser but not listed in Yelp. I wished we had know. However, can't recommend it yet, bc we did not try the other one.

Dumbed down Cdn Chinese food special and buffet cheap but boring Get the chef up cook you something authentic! NE China spicy chicken (off the menu) and house special noodles! Yum
