We where put up at the Mercure, which is joined to the pub. Col beer, but had to wait a long time for food. Only one poor lady behind the bar, which is a big do...

This would have to be the best Pub in Broome. It is not expensive like those near Cable Beach, and not noisy like others in town.The food is very much Australia...

"We had the chilli bowl (poached egg, beans, avocado, spinach & tortillas) & egg bene roll (poached egg, bacon, hollandaise in a perfectly toasted brioche bun) - served promptly & both were excellent. Fresh juices great way to start the day. Coffee good but bit weak as served in large cups. Great relaxed atmosphere, highly recommended, will come back. (Also observed they do a roaring trade in sort-of-drive-thru coffee)"

"My fiancé and I visited Bali Hai for dinner last night. We called up at about to see if they had any tables available and they said they could fit us in at I received a text message confirmation and then another to say the table was ready for us. The wait staff were attentive and we ordered cocktails (strawberry daiquiri and a mojito). Both were delicious. I ordered the duck for main which was beautifully cooked, came with some very tasty vegetables and was very well presented. My partner had the lamb which he says was delicious and it looked amazing as well. It was on the more expensive side for restaurants in Broome but well worth the prices we paid. We read some comments about it taking a long time for meals but we were finished by Would definitely return if we had more nights here!"

"Just ordered the lamb . So disappointed of it was fat or grissel. Either the cook neads spectacles to see what he/she has cooked or they are trying to destroy a business. One good point, the beer was cold and secondly an apologetic...staff member. I pointed out it was not her fault."
