"A friend ate here and texted me letting me know this was definitely my kind of food. She was not wrong. The atmosphere is casual being in a strip mall with the staff in shorts or joggers. However the food is a couple of steps above the atmosphere which suited us just fine. Cute decor with plenty of family dinners and out with friends groups make it an easy choice for any occasion. We came in about 8 pm on a Friday. They were busy and the kitchen was definitely running behind. While the wait staff was not over the top they were quick to check on us and make sure we did not need anything. The (assuming) manager was doing a great job of checking in with people and spending time chatting people up. Everyone seemed to be having a great time with their party and took the extended wait in stride. The staff stayed busy bringing drinks, appetizers, and food. While not ideal it was handled well by the restaurant and the patrons. The food. All the appetizers sounded good and as I watched them come out, looked good. We settled on the artichoke spinach dip and loved it. Tortillas were fried to a chip . Large chunks of artichoke and oh so cheesy. Definitely a great way to get started. For our entrees, we ordered red snapper on grits with sweet potato fries and tuna with a side salad. Interestingly the grits could have used a little more salt/flavor and the tuna was a bit heavy on the salt. However the blackened red fish was amazing and the sauce on the tuna was great. I 'd like a side of that sauce with almost anything. All in all we enjoyed our meal and will definitely put this one in the eat here again list."

"This place is great! Really just a stop in and pick up boudin/sausage and Cracklin shop inside a nice gas station, but no need for anything else!! The fresh hot cracklins and fried boudin balls were freaking awesome!! Service is a bit slow, so plan to be there for a bit if there's a line, but it wasn't terrible and they packed everything up nicely for us. Definitely plan to stop by if you're in the area!!"
