"There were just a handful of diners for our lunch time meal at the Clockspire which has a large open dining room. The cavernous space was cold and lacked atmosphere, exacerbated by so few fellow travellers. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. The kitchen offers fine dining and yet most of our dishes were over seasoned with salt very prominent. Portions were tiny and relatively expensive, as were wines. Overall the restaurant fails to offer value for money, and we are unlikely to return in the near future. "We went here a few days ago, our waiter giuseppe was excellent with us and other customers round, he made the experience unforgettable for all! political, funny and attentive to our needs. eating was amazing, fresh, delicate and full of taste! we sat outside and it was warm, not too hot, no bugs, pleasant, not even noticed street noise! everything was perfect and it was busy inc a huge hen do inside. all in all, I would have to give this restaurant a 10/10 and will definitely return. we spent around £350 for 7 people, meals, puddings and a whole lot of drinks/cocktails/coffees, so I would say good value! thank you."

"Food was bad, most of the starter dishes pre cooked and appear at your table in 2-3 minutes. Lamb was terrible, wine list is pretty bad. Tiramisu was made by somebody who never ate a tiramisu before. No idea why this place has good ratings. Just avoid. We spent couple of hundred pounds for dinner and the experience was like visiting a burger stand at the mall."

"Went here for our wedding anniversary. Cannot recommend high enough! Absolutely superb food! Couldn't decide what to have so described to the server what taste I was in the mood for, including spice level. He got it spot on! Will be returning soon."

"We always pop in here when we're in Glastonbury...whether it's for scrambled eggs and beans on toast, soup or afternoon tea. Always good food...bit miffed once when we arrived at 11.45 and it was too late for breakfast but we would've had to wait for noon for lunch."
