"There were just a handful of diners for our lunch time meal at the Clockspire which has a large open dining room. The cavernous space was cold and lacked atmosphere, exacerbated by so few fellow travellers. Staff were attentive without being intrusive. The kitchen offers fine dining and yet most of our dishes were over seasoned with salt very prominent. Portions were tiny and relatively expensive, as were wines. Overall the restaurant fails to offer value for money, and we are unlikely to return in the near future. "I sat here for dinner and the restaurant I have to say it was really nice! it was very open and had a nice small garden area. the personal was really friendly and attentive and they could say that they really care about their experience. Moreover, eating was amazing and would definitely come back to try more of what was on their menu."

"We received a friendly and polite welcome. It was so hot I was very glad that I had chosen to have dinner at Castello. They have a large area outside with well spaced tables with sun shade umbrellas. Sitting there we thought we really were in Italy. The menu offered a very good choice of Italian/Mediterranean dishes. The fish and salads we had were really memorable!!"

"What a fabulous find! Very high quality tapas made really well and delivered as prepared. Excellent selection of wines and drinks, including some low alcohol options for drivers. Very good recruitment policy only the most helpful and lovely team allowed to work there. I will back and stay in a hotel nearby so that I can take my time overs bottle of wine. Service: Dine in"

"Food was bad, most of the starter dishes pre cooked and appear at your table in 2-3 minutes. Lamb was terrible, wine list is pretty bad. Tiramisu was made by somebody who never ate a tiramisu before. No idea why this place has good ratings. Just avoid. We spent couple of hundred pounds for dinner and the experience was like visiting a burger stand at the mall."

"Service was great especially as the restaurant was very busy. The staff were attentive and helpful however with regards to my steak I was not impressed at all. Two of us ordered the Sirloin steak which wasn't cheap so I was expecting a nice tender steak but mine had a serious amount of gristle which was obviously left on my plate and even the waiter noticed this and asked if everything was ok which obviously I said not really, also although the steak was tasty it was pretty chewy again not something you expect from a 30 day aged steak. It comes with fries which were very nice but no salad just an inch square dollop of cress of some kind, surely a small salad wouldn’t go a miss with the price of this meal? Wish I had taken a photo of this meal so show that this review is a fair comment and not exaggerated. Can’t fault the staff and it was only my meal that was very disappointing ."

"Absolutely disgusted in the Manager of this restaurant. Short, dark haired lady who refused to give us her name. She was on duty 5pm on 11 November. Despite us having an online confirmation email for a 5.30pm booking for my son’s birthday celebration, I was informed very rudely that our booking had been for 11am that morning and because we did not show, our credit card had been charged. How absolutely disgusting being treated by an employee of an establishment meant to be making money for the owner. Clearly the online system was glitching but even with a confirmation email in hand, we were not offered an apology, let alone a complimentary drink or being offered another table at a later time."
