Just wow. It was the greatest meal we had on our trip. The owner is a great all around guy and is able to make you smile with his jokes and great service. The atmosphere was great and had a certain warmth to it. An honestly enjoyable experience. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Gastronomika:
The staff were very nice and friendly, but the food was nothing to write or to talk about. The first course was too cold and not fresh, the meat for main course was sticky with too much industrial sauce. Most of the time we had cats surrounding our table, at some point, while we were eating the meat, one of the cats jump on the table. View all feedback.
Had an amazing balkan food experience there! Having a lovely outside garden, this is place is perfect for a friends night out. The food was great, especially the appetizers . As for dessert the Trileqe cake is a must!!!
The best restaurant in bukarest for fresh seafood and balkanik and Romanian dishes. a must try for traveling and native.
Very good eating with Albanian Macedonian influences. fresh, tasty and inspired, eating was all we wanted. I especially recommend the appetizers, seafood fish.
Visited this place based on the online reviews. Food was below expectations, fatty and plain. It took them almost 1 hour to prepare meals for 4 people. The waiters were polite and professional. Except for a lady with black hair who just did not care...about the guests at all, she seemed bored. Sometimes she tried to be funny but she was just rude and ignorant with us. Would not go there again.
This one was a disappointment. I had booked a large table by e-mail and it was not available when we got there, so we had some conversations and moving tables to do. They did not even check, they told me to go to the large...table where tother people were sitting and then said that it must be because I booked too early. We then got 3 menus for 7 people which are with printed pages, with visible bending, so really amateur. The prices were not amateur, most dishes where over 30 with some seafood reaching 60 as far as I remember. Trying to sell food at premium prices without having a professional menu.. We took different dishes, the shakshuka and some of the pasta were appreciated, the plescavita and the octopus not so much. The potatoes were not good, the ones for chicken seemed reheated somehow and the house ones had a ton of paprika and did not go well with fat plescavita. The beers were not in the menu and a draft beer was 12 ron. A door had a missing knob, light was not working in one of the bathroom cabins, so overall way below experience for what we paid.
