"Menu calls a lot of things “de post” (fasting food, which in orthodox tradition is all vegan) that are not fasting food/not vegan because they contain cheese. (e.g. their samosa and the black lentil daal that I ordered). I explicitly asked the waitress if an item “de post” contained any lactate derivaties(just to double check). She said that it did not but it had a ton of cheese. That totally ruined the meal for me. I suspect that she didn’t know but the item shouldn’t have been labled as “de post” to begin with."
