beautiful pub with a beautiful view of the lake from the beer garden. very cozy and picturesque interieur with plenty of seating. great personal and good clean beer. the early pieces are beautiful, they also make an early piece challenge plate, most of which can not do as its huge! Not going to visit here again. Visited last month before the kitchen closed for poor hygiene and the food was absolutely disgusting. And the pub has gone completely downhill since it had changed hands read more.

Liked it, dog friendly, nice old pub. Not much choice for bitter drinkers (John Smith's but decent Guinness. Would return if I was in the area.
