What we wanted to order was not available. Well, we decided to take something else. I took as a moment, and waiter seemed being inpatient. We waited c.a. 20 minutes and actually waiter told us it is time we will be waiting. That's OK. Food was good and nicely served. If you don't smoke expect people are smoking there... What User doesn't like about La Placinte:
Visited with the family, place looks nice. The waiters look like they wish to be anywhere else but there, serving... Which really made the dinner uncomfortable Restaurant was 40-50% capacity but it took the food ~40 minutes to arrive. No good salad for vegetarians. Dumpling was great. Chicken was great No soup after 1900 (?) As a final note, probably give it one more chance till i found another authentic place to enj... View all feedback.
We waited too long, almost an hour... the waiters are rude and not helpful. Many dishes were not available, especially soups. I don't recommend it.
This was by far the worst service we had in Bucharest, and we asked him in Romania, so there was no way to lose jn translation. The waiting period was long, the dishes brought were wrong and the waitress smoked while we waited for food. We were even charged before we got the last court. We tried to talk to the other waitress, and we have a bad tendency. All these problems are a good example of a missed restaurant. Pitty, because food is not bad.
Great atmosphere, waiters are very polite. Excellent for Romanian dishes. I recommend both MICI WITH FRENCH FRIES and TURKEY CUTLETS WITH MASHED POTATOES. The traditional CACIULA LUI GUGUTA is a dessert.
Excellent local restaurant Their soups are recommended They have two restaurants in the same area and both are excellent, always full.
From my point of view this is one of the best restaurants if you are looking for traditional food. You name it they have it. Since they opened I tried almost everything from the menu and I was never disappointed. Last time I was here I had a chicken soup and my boyfriend had a traditional beans and smoked pork sour soup. They both were very good and we enjoyed our meal. Given the name of the restaurant, they have some good pies too. I highly recommend the sour cherry one or the cheese one. The servers could be more polite, but given the quality of the food and the tastiness of it, it didn’t even bothered me that the waiter barely smiled at us. You should definitely stop by at this restaurant if you’re in Bucharest and want to have a taste of the traditional food here.
