we stumble over this restaurant as we wanted to eat some Hungarian food on a Sunday afternoon. the restaurant is located on a very commercial and tourist area however eating is great and the prices are very good. they had live music to entertain. fresh delicious food and amazing desserts. we definitely come back to this place when we come back to budapest. really the best experience of a lot of Hungarian food. The exterior is uninspiring but inside is a cavernous interior pleasantly decorated floor to ceiling with items from rustic Hungarian life. The food is a little bland (as expected in a tourist street) but it was enjoyable. The gypsy musicians added a little spark to an otherwise empty interior, and the service was friendly though a little haphazard. Virtually nothing vegetarian, and almost no fish.
