"Decided to come here for dinner after reading the glowing reviews here and on Tripadvisor but left underwhelmed. Very slow service even though the restaurant wasn't busy; we had to wait almost half an hour before we even received our entree of chicken skewers! There was a couple who placed their order after us who received their dishes before we even got our entree (they seemed to be regulars from the way they interacted with the waitress). Quite disappointing, we pay the same prices, so why shouldn't we get the same service? In terms of food, it was decent but relatively average, not bad but not outstanding either, and definitely on the pricey side nearly $22 for basic pad thai. We've been to other Thai restaurants that were much cheaper and had better food. Overall overrated and overpriced. If you're an out of towner looking for somewhere to eat I'd recommend going elsewhere.EDIT: Waiting almost 30 minutes at an unbusy restaurant for an entree of 4 chicken skewers is normal? Really?? I'm not sure many people would agree with that sentiment. We could've been informed at the time of ordering that entrees would take longer than usual and asked if we would like our mains served first which we would've been more than happy to agree to. Seems like you are just making excuses for the poor service..."

"Some time since we last visited Rangoli which is surprising considering the quality of the food. Our friends agreed that this is one of the best Indian restaurants within easy reach of Buderim - it's in Buderim itself.We had originally booked for inside but found it too noisy there and moved to a table outside despite it being cold, the gas-fired heaters ensuring our comfort.Although we normally order four dishes for the four of us this time we selected three which, with the usual accompanying pickles etc proved to be plenty. We could not have managed a fourth.Service first class.BYO wine. Total cost just under $90, less than $25 per head, very well priced.Higly recommended for those who like classic Indian."

"Took Mum here for a quick morning tea. I had a scone with jam and cream, Mum had a savoury scone. We chose coffee to drink and enjoyed the ambience and atmosphere. Friendly, helpful staff contributed to the enjoyment of our trip."

"We were recommended this restaurant by our Airbnb host. It was in a great location right on the water with great views. The food was excellent, well presented and with great flavours. The service was very friendly but not too imposing. I would love to go back in the summer when all the windows would be opened."

"Ordered away from here a month ago or so the food found here either too easy or too salty. the pad see ew was especially bland, had to add my own season to make it bearable. it might have been a night, but overall was quite disappointed."

"On par, if not better then the iwasaki jap restaurant at Rydges resort In Yeppoon. And not a 1/3 the price. I've lived all over Queensland and NSW and been to many eateries. This is best jap food I've ever had. If I end up on death row. Gingers my last meal request."
