"They don't train their baristas. Or maybe they're just lazy. Tried both Bo's coffeeshops in Butuan, had passable coffee 1 time at the Robinson's mall but must have been lucky coz all other times undrinkable."

"Food is fair at best. Mgmt has little or no control of who/what straggles into the joint. Scruffy jeepney barkers, loan sharks, loathesome beggars, various in-bred tribes, rugby boys all use the one tiny CR anytime they want. Havent seen any Bombays around doing the...5/6 thing yet."

"Once again back in Butuan and a visit to The Pit Stop is in order. Consistently a great place. Cliff was on hand hosting and welcomed my wife, friend and myself like family. Had the wings and burger again and as expected they were outstanding....The beer is perfectly cold. Only praise for Cliff and the staff. My wife and I were invited by Cliff to a 4th of July beach party and we are going to take him up on it. Thank you Cliff for everything. No doubt will be back."

"If it weren't for the one assessment before me, I wouldn't have found this hidden gem. I had the lime baked dory fish and it was lami. it came with rice and salad with a sweet mango dressing. great eating, great price."

"Like the Wayfarer Inn in which Ribbs is situated, this restaurant offers great value for money. I enjoyed a delicious, properly cooked hamburger with a savoury bun not the sweet type that one expects in Philippines. We purchased what looked like close to a litre...of citrus coller that was refreshing. Service was caring and attentive. A few walk ins arrived to eat. This restaurant may be on a side street and look unpretentious but for simple,homely food you cannot go wrong."

"While we do our field work in mindanao, with taking out cases where our host can prepare us to eat, it was hard to come vegan cuisine. I and my companion were only allowed for vegetarian cuisine that use meat essences for the taste to avoid hunger. through the HappyCow app, however, I could find a restaurant in butuan city with natural health care and vegetarian cuisine. immediately we went there and rejoiced that it was a resto and a clinic at the same time. I liked eating that I ordered. my companion also liked her. what was amazing was the price. it was only php60 for red rice, 2 viands and a healthy juice (kartoffel.) I also tried her vegan siopao, empanada and turon. my companion also got a powdered soy mix for our healthy breakfast the next day. it was really worth everything. I hope that more restaurants like they will be able to offer vegan cuisine to promote the health of people. updated from previous review on 2016-08-23"
