Corto Mates Cafe from Buenos Aires Menu

"We visited this restaurant several times and always really enjoyed their Scandinavian take on food. Last Tuesday, however, it was the worst food and the most expensive on this trip to B.A. The Biff Lindström of my husband was burned to an ashes and then covered with brown sauce. My salmon Rosado was raw in the centre. Both dishes were replaced and then served with so many green leaves that almost the entire plate was covered with them. For some reason, the salmon dish now had slices of melon with the salad and not the avocado as the menu indicated. The cook was at most tables during the service, but disappeared when we complained. Raw fish and carbonated meat?! Is that real? No excuse or explanation? We really want an answer from her. It is so bad that the quality of food and service has decreased. We've always made a point for lunch in BA here. Hope that was gone once???"

"The title says it all. The price was right too. Lemonade was some of the best we had. The only suspicious thing was a cat that climbed on tables when we were the only ones in the place. Server was super-helpful with our limited Spanish. Very comfortable table size, spacing and atmosphere. Would return, no question."

"One of the most authentic and beautiful Argentinean steak experiences we had in Buenos Aires. We held a chance here while we went to La Boca. You will see the large parilla right at the entrance of the garden. The seating area is so beautiful that you can choose inside, garden or balcony on the second floor. We had Bife de chorizo, Choripán super and a bottle of Malbec wine. Meat was cooked as we wanted, so delicious and juicy. Everything was very well prepared. The service was a little late, but I can understand because the restaurant area is quite large and there were many people and fewer waiters at that time. We paid 8000pesos for two and it is a normal price for a parilla in this city."
