We love getting out of the city and experiencing a bit of Mexico. Being from Texas, we love these family owned Mexican restaurants. We have never been disappointed in our meal and the portions are large. I tell my husband we could share the fajitas; he thinks not! View all feedback.
El Paso was great in a pinch. It was a really chilly day and we went out to visit some alpacas in that area. By the time our visit was over we were STARVING. In that area, it kind of felt like there were very limited options on a Sunday. We were definitely worried we'd have to drive all the way back to Lees Summit to grab a bite...but then we saw it! Right there, smack on the shoulder on the highway. We got seated inside almost immediately and the menu was great (and had pictures which is always a plus at a Mexican restaurant! I ordered a smothered quesadilla and it was delicious. The place was full but the staff were quick and very kind. Affordable too! If I'm ever back in that neck of the woods, I would definitely return!
I love El Paso! I've been going to this Mexican restaurant since I was in high school. I haven't had anything on the menu that I don't like. Don't let the purple and red walls outside deter you from stopping and trying it! The waiters are some of the funnest guys around! We love going for birthdays!

They took great care of us for my son's rehearsal dinner amidst many changes in our plans and times, on a busy Friday night. We ended up making the order to go and the food was delicious. Every meal we ordered was correct! We eat there often and this is their norm. Thanks again to El Paso Mexican Restaurant!
I tried this restaurant a several time and have never been disappointed. This night I had the fajita El Paso which is Steak, Chorizo, Chicken, and Shrimp and is accompanied by refried beans and rice. Also has sour cream, guacamole, pico, and lettuce. The flavors are great and marry well together with the onions and green peppers they are cooked with. This place is a little out of the city limits as it is located half way between Warrensburg and Lee's Summit on 50 hwy. The decor is a little dated but don't let this discourage you from trying this place.
