The buffet is very blunt, there are no interesting flavors or dishes, and they have even taken the smoked salmon that is now an extra. The restaurant needs a modern touch food smart, with interesting flavors and a decent selection of dishes from which you choose. The waiters are polite and efficient. View all feedback.

Stopd daily for breakfast. They delivered a wide spread well dressed with a variety of meat, cheese and fresh pastries as well as the breakfast standards such as eggs, and bacon. A variety of fresh juices and large coffee. It was a pleasure to join them during my stay in the palace for the first meal of the day.
Noisy, because a tree was cut at breakfast right next to the orangery. Certainly another time should have been chosen.
Such a lovely afternoon tea. Excellent service with delicious treats. You won't leave hungry and will feel special for having participated.
I called on a Saturday evening to make a reservation for a table for 3 for lunch the following Tuesday. It was for a special occasion, the birthday of a relative, a senior. The representative, Diego, said they didn’t take reservations but assured me that we would get a table; they were never full on Tuesdays at lunchtime in January. I insisted, but he insisted in that I would not need one. On Tuesday, right before leaving the house, I call the restaurant to confirm I’m on my way and there would be a table for 3 available for us. The representative on duty, Maria, said, in a rude manner unacceptable from a 5 star hotel, that they were all taken with a party and had no tables available nor would they have for the rest of the afternoon. I was puzzled and mentioned what Diego had said —I had older relatives already dressed up ready to head over. Maria did not even apologize but reinstated, in an offensively impolite manner, that they had no tables and was not offering any alternatives. I was flabbergasted and asked to speak to a supervisor. She transferred unwillingly, and I was out on endless hold until I had no option but hang up. I called again several times, and nobody would answer. I tried calling the main hotel number, and nobody picked up either. I am still shocked and cannot believe how little they seem to care about customers. I received no apology or contact from anyone from the hotel offering to make up one way or another for what had happened.
