What User likes about La Aguada:
Our AirBnb host recommended this spot to us, and she did not let us down! You have to ring a bell to get in as they keep the door locked (very confusing), but once inside it has a homey, warm atmosphere. They boast that their empanadas are the best, and they were certainly the best I had in BA! (Note: tons of vegetarian empanada choices too!). Staff was friendly, but service was pretty weak (and it was not busy). Ordered the Wok dish with beef, but some of the beef pieces were tasting a little old not rotten, but definitely not fresh. I was happy to see specially marked items on the menu for gluten free, but I don’t think they realize that normal soy sauce is made with wheat, and unfortunately I had a mild reaction after the fact.
