In an area surrounded by restaurants, we chose this 0ne from the menu and personality of Matre d', Ernie. We had not read Trip Advisor at the time and probably had an excellent experience because we struck up a conversation with the gregarious Ernie. Our experience was excellent. We were lucky to get a front row for people watching and to our delight, an impromptu Tango performance on the footpath. My wife was not hung... View all feedback.

Where do I start. This restaurant was literally the worst place I've ever eaten in my entire life. We were approached by a chap nicknamed 'Dirty E' who in fairness was a warm man but the nickname should have triggered some warnings. The food served was so bad, a starving African child would have thrown it up. We ate as a group of 4, and not one of us finished our food. The burgers looked like they had just come out o... Pizza didn't taste anything. It wasn't bad, it was tasteless. Pasta is served in oil and parmesan in small plastic bags.
This place was good! We loved grilled vegetables. Delicious. And we liked the Empanadas. Really good. We have not experienced some of the criticisms we read here.
We stopped here for lunch before visiting the cemetary. Ordered the mixed grill for two and an Argentinian beer. Sat outside on their covered patio and it was great for people watching. We were charged exactly what the menu said. They even put the beer in an ice bucket too funny)!. Service was on par for the country what us Americans would consider slow). We loved how the mixed grill was served..more like an experience.
We ate a pizza here several weeks ago and liked it. Today, the waitress tried to scam us into overpaying. Another reviewer captured our exact experience (see below), except we realized we were being overcharged and brought it to the attention of the hostess. Our cash (they accepted our credit card on the previous visit) overpayment was returned to us. The pizza is really good for Argentine pizza, but beware. Demand a real itemized bill.
A couple of days ago, celebrating the New Year, we were walking on the beautiful, posh neighborhood of Recoleta and decided to have lunch at Posta grill. Posta had signs offering a reasonably priced mixed grill for 2 from which 3 could eat.Complete deception. Very slow deceiving service plus the worst, a mixed grill with beef ribs that were mostly fat and no meat. The rest just hu!under average and nothing to die for. Buenos Aires is a wonderful city that offers plenty of options at reasonable prices for excellent dining, so stay away from Posta.
