La Bella Another Family Favorite. For years at La Bella. We love it! Very consistent authentic Italian cuisine! Pizza is not the best in Buffalo, but what is Aashats here for the pizza when the menu forces the viewers to order more rewarding dishes? You want pizza, go to La Nova. Do you want Veal Parm? You can hear that in La Bella Sicilia! since Ricci Roma closed, we've fed so much more here! View all feedback.
The pizza was amazing. Thick and delicious. Sauce was the best part. Its somewhere you must go for good pizza at great prices
I have never had a bad meal or service from LaBelle. I go there as often as I can, especially for my birthday with my family and then accommodate us all the time
The best Sicilian pizza sauce. La Bella Sicilia may not be the most glamorous-looking restaurant, but the food is amazing. Huge portions of pasta! But the best thing...the thing I'm addicted to....the thing I drive from Indianapolis to Buffalo for, is their deep dish Sicilian pizza. The cheese is so fresh and farm-like, as if it came from a freshly milked dairy cow....but the MOST AMAZING thing is the sauce on the deep dish Sicilian pizza....it's tangy and sweet and addictive. As a pizza connoisseur, I can state wholeheartedly that it's the best-tasting sauce I've ever encountered. Be sure not to confuse it with their regular NY style pizza, which is great but has a more typical type of sauce. The sauce I'm addicted to is that which is on La Bella's deep dish Sicilian pizza. I would choose it as my last meal...it's that amazing!
When we want fee good Italian, we like to eat here. It's not the fanciest place, but I've never had a bad dinner. It's an older place, and always has customers, so get there early.
The Food Baby. Have you ever heard that expression? It applies to a situation in which one eats so much, it appears as if they are pregnant. That is how I feel when I leave La Bella. First, bread comes out... Costanzo's sub rolls. Be careful, or you will be full after you finish your salad. Now, they have half-portions or kid sizes) of the pasta dishes, but I can't discern the difference. This knowlege in mind, I ordered the chicken scallapini ala francese, two cutlets in a lemon sauce $13) to keep it light... and they were delicious. I have been to La Bella three times, each visit for dinner, and it has always been packed. However, the staff moves pretty well through a cramped space. Unless you go later in the evening, I'd expect some wait and a noisy restaurant.
