I am a member in the coop. it is certainly not the cheapest food in the city, but I love their focus on bio,- local products and their bulk area. they have a great selection of vegan products like cheese, sincean, tempeh and firm soy boy tofu from rustester (together with a great selection of mock meat.) This coop infuriates me daily. They frequently have little to no vegan options at the hot bar. They charge you more for vegan baked goods. They have a poor selection of organic produce. Everything is priced significantly higher than elsewhere like Wegmans or other stores. It is overpriced for a coop, and extremely overpriced for the Buffalo market.
