Unique experience however be aware of the cost. We went after the National Museum as its 14 min walk from. Too expensive for what it is worth. Already has been said by others. 3000 yen per person for some appetisers and 6 skewers is a bit too much. 2nd round does get cheaper at 1500 yen per person. They have a nice Japanese option. It is fun to change the ingredients and appetizers every season. I think that it is cost effective with a meal dessert set for lunch on weekdays.
For a traditional experience among the locals... The food is excellent for the open minded and somewhat adventurous along with some items for all palates
