This coffee house is adorable inside and on a side street so the outdoor seating is quiet.This visit I enjoyed a seasonal blood orange lemonade.I was saddened as I had selected this particular location for a shopping trip break and had my heart set on a seasonal marshmallow latte from the menu on google maps. What philip sisk doesn't like about Black Elephant Coffee (burbank):
Slow service people at counter don’t seem to care about speed. Espresso is good or coffee it comes from stumptown which is always good. Super small place has a patio breakfast super limited. Pastries very generic nothing to right home about. Grab a latte here then go for breakfast some where else kind of place. That is if you want to wait for them to take your order. View all feedback.

"I got a headache for the 3rd time in a row now after eating food from here. For the first 2 times, i thought its just me and my body doing this. I never had any headache issues. "OK but not impressed. Main issue is balance, bread is awesome but hard to bite with full of ingredients inside, many different meats what is great but I completely don't taste difference, all taste the same, just one layer of cheese what is almost invisible among whole taste. Cabbage doesn't work for sure, I would like to remove it but keep the rest in a half."
