they sell the unique beer burgdorfer beer, it is delicious. i don't have any experience when it comes to the restaurant, as I have only tasted the beer. The beer is made in the same building so it is surely worth a visit. Also, if you are a group of people you can make a reservation for a room in the basement which looks authentic with its old bricks in the wall. We visited this restaurant some years ago, had a great meal then and decided to come back. Unfortunately, we were a bit disappointed. We visited on a Saturday and made a reservation (which turned out to be unnecessary). For some reason they only had the reduced menu, which was a big disappointment. Wow! Simply fantastic! We (family were guests at the Schützenhaus again this afternoon and were very excited. The service was excellent (attentive, friendly and the food was delicious. The menu is clear and creative (the sauerkraut with the wild boar cordon bleu is awesome! . The smaller desserts are very clever and delicate. I rarely write reviews, but this visit simply deserves 5 stars! Bravo, great restaurant where you'll be happy to come back.
