Comparing the branch in Brighton to Burgess Hill. My husband and I went to Buon Appetitto as we were in the area for lunch. My waiter was abrupt and not approachable or accommodating. The portion size was ver small with four mussels and four sporkfull of spaghetti. My husband's calzone was all bread and no fillings. The beer was flat and not served with the bottle. Very disappointed, we are not coming back!!!!! View all feedback.

"Quite a lot of the whole menu can be veganized, so there is plenty of choice. I had a vanilla milkshake and the banana and chocolate pancakes that were very beautiful and very full. my only criticism is that the pancakes were a little burned/snapy on the floor. great decor and fast service. the place is small and on a monday dinner was almost full, so if you want to visit at a busy time, I would recommend a booking if possible."

"We wanted somewhere nice to celebrate my husband's birthday and couldn't have chosen any better! The staff were all lovely and very friendly and the roast dinners were perfect! We tried the sirloin beef and the pork and they both came with a lovely selection of vegetables, roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings. Not often you get vegetables so vibrant and nice tasting! We shared a pannecotta for dessert and it was absolutely delicious! My husband was worried I was going to lick the plate!!"

"Booked a table for Sunday lunch and had the roast turkey. It was delicious! All were washed down with a very large glass of wine each for £5.99 a glass which was excellent value. The bramble crumble slice was lovely and fruity, but the treacle tart was the best we had ever had. You can never fault the service at the Nutmeg, some high-end establishments could learn a lot from this team. Thank you for a lovely family meal we all enjoyed it so much. You do need to book to be sure of a table, even in the winter months."
