"Having already an experience of this table (very positive at the time) we went to test the kitchen "new Mexican chef." disappointment: the dishes are elaborated in a catererer, pre-cooks, fish on cook and dry, dry sauce, chaining the dishes much too fast (we were in a couple in the evening, it is not a lunch service on which we are pressed). "Visited restaurant given its high rating on Trip advisior which at the time rated it No1 restaurant in the town. Visited lunchtime. Surprised there was not set menu so made price and choice more difficult as had to choose from Al a carte menu. Meal OK but distinctly average. Unlikely to return given choice of better restaurants in the town.."

"The Vieille Forge kitchen has seen excellent chefs pass through. We had lunch there, we dined there, it was delicious, friendly, classy and very fine, the room was crowded, the atmosphere was warm. That was before. Today, it has become a canteen: paper napkins, plastic salt and pepper shakers and so on! The desserts are defrosted and tasteless, the fruit was still frozen! The dishes are tasteless. Alone, the wine list is pleasant. The foie gras was good, but it won't be enough. I won't go back there again.
